Solar Glance

Solar Glance is an iOS Dashboard App for your iPad or iPhone (also available on macOS) that allows you to monitor your Sigenergy Solar and Battery data at a glance.

• Connect to your Sigenergy Inverter via Modbus on the local network
• Works even when your internet is down (it does not connect to Sigenergy servers)
• You choose which readings you want to monitor
• Readings are updated every 10s
• The last 24 hours are shown on the graphs
• Tells you when the grid is down (even without internet)
• Tells you the status of your EV Charger
• Monitor Inverter and Battery temperatures
• Monitor Smart loads (eg Smart Port & Shelly devices)

Solar Glance is ideal on an iDevice permanently attached to a wall.
Perfect for an old device you have lying around, so long as it runs on iOS 18 or later.

Note - You need to have a Sigenergy SigenStor Solar System to use Solar Glance.
Solar Glance is not affiliated with Sigenergy.

Modbus must be enabled on your inverter.
You can enable Modbus in the mySigen App, Settings, System Settings, Modbus TCP Server Settings.
Alternatively, ask your installer or Sigenergy to enable Modbus.
If you have an AC EV charger, get them to set the inverter device ID to 2 as the AC EV charger will default to 1.

The 24 hours graphs requires Solar Glance to be running to collect the data from your solar system for the 24 hours.
If you have another device, or a Mac, continually running Solar Glance, then the 24 graphs will update from your other devices using iCloud.
A wall mounted iPad, or running Solar Glance in the background on a Mac, is perfect for this.

For configuration, just enter the IP address of your Sigenergy inverter, and click Test to discover the Modbus IDs.
Get the IP address from the mySigen App, Settings, System Settings, Connectivity, Device, SigenStor, Ethernet or Wifi, IP Address.
Make the IP Address Fixed/Static on your home router so it does not change when your inverter reconnects to your router.

To add readings, such as any smart loads you have connected, just tap a graph to show the "+" button, and click, then choose the reading you want to add.
Tap a reading to add or remove that reading from the graphs.
Long tap a reading to edit it (colour and text), to move it up or down, or to remove it.
